AUSTIN (KXAN) -- March marks the beginning of spring migration for millions of birds, and Central Texas plays an important role in our feathered friends' journeys. Central Texas lies in the main corridor for migrating birds in the spring season, and there are ways in which we can make our homes less harmful and yards more helpful for these travelers.Meteorologist Kristen Currie spoke with the Executive Director of Travis Audubon, Nicole Netherton, to find out what to look for as we enter migration season and how we can help these birds safely make the trip.Below is a transcription of their interview. (Note: edits were made for clarity)Kristen Currie, KXAN News: Spring migration is here, which is an exciting time of the year. So let's dive into it. What are we seeing in our skies right now? AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Unseasonably warm and humid weather continues midweek, but a pair of cold fronts will bring a few wiggles in our temperature trend between now and next week.Similar to yesterday, today will feature more clouds than sun with noticeable humid levels. Afternoon highs will return to the low 80s, more than 10° warmer than average.Austin is in the midst of its sixth-warmest start to March on recordOur first of two cold fronts will roll in late tomorrow night into Friday morning. Along and ahead of the front, scattered rain and storms are possible. US senators from both parties teaming up against Tiktok

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 18:26:15 GMT

WASHINGTON (Nexstar)-- Senators from both parties are teaming up against Tiktok.China, through their technology, is stealing Americans data, and South Dakota republican John Thune says the Chinese-owned social media app won't be the last similar threat to our national security. The Chinese Communist party has proven over the last few years that is willing to lie about just about everything. That likely won't end with Tiktok. On Tuesday, Thune and Virginia democrat Mark Warner introduced the "Restrict act," which would give the president and the secretary of commerce, the authority to prohibit any foreign technology posing a security risk.Warner said that includes software, hardware and social media platforms. It's genuinely risk-based.The senators say their bill is different from the one house republicans introduced last week, because it doesn't single out Tiktok. Opponents of that bill argued it would violate the First Amendment. The idea of having a rules-based process that identifies...

Sisältömarkkinointi englanniksi – Milloin on aika panostaa englanninkieliseen sisältöön?

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 18:26:15 GMT

Pääsyy englanninkielisen sisällön tuottamiseen on yleensä yrityksen pyrkiminen kansainvälisille markkinoille.

Malja rohkeudelle

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 18:26:15 GMT

Arvostus muita yrittäjiä kohtaan on noussut suuresti tänä aikana.

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 18:26:15 GMT

Eräs tärkeimmistä asioista sisältömarkkinointisuunnitelmaa laatiessa on tutkia tarkasti omaa kohdeasiakaskuntaansa. Kohdeasiakaskunta riippuu tietenkin tuotteesta tai palvelusta, mitä yritys myy. Jos yritys esimerkiksi myy trendikkäitä käsilaukkuja, on kohdeasiakkaina oletettavasti nuoremmat muodista kiinnostuneet naiset. Silloin sisältö pitää suunnitella nuorille muotitietoisille naisille kiinnostavaksi.  Tuntemalla oman kohdeasiakaskuntansa on helpompi luoda heille sopivaa sisältöä ja valita oikeat kanavat, missä markkinoi...
